Pepe the Frog meme coloring page

Pepe the Frog

Pepe started as one of four roommates in Boy's Club, a comic Matt Furie drew in 2005. One panel had him saying "feels good man", and around 2008 message boards began pasting his face over everything. The sad version on this page, with heavy eyelids and a downturned mouth, became the best known. In 2016 hate groups started using Pepe too, and Furie spent years taking his frog back, a fight told in the 2020 documentary Feels Good Man.

Colors: Green skin, reddish-brown lips, a blue shirt.

Success Kid meme coloring page

Success Kid

On August 26, 2007, Laney Griner photographed her 11-month-old son Sammy on a Florida beach. He had a fistful of sand and was about to eat it. The first captions online read "I hate sandcastles", but by 2011 the clenched fist and determined face stood for small wins: found money in an old coat, got the last slice. In 2015 the family used the meme's fame to raise over $100,000 for a kidney transplant for Sammy's father.

Colors: A green and white shirt, pale sand, a blurred blue-green sea behind him.

Hide the Pain Harold meme coloring page

Hide the Pain Harold

Harold is András Arató, a Hungarian electrical engineer. A photographer spotted his holiday pictures and invited him to model for stock photos, and around 2011 people noticed that in every single one his smile looked like it was covering something up. They named him Harold and made him the face of pretending everything is fine. Arató was unhappy about it at first, then decided to enjoy it, and gave a TEDx talk about waking up as a meme in 2018.

Colors: Grey hair and beard, a light shirt, a white mug. The laptop is silver.

Grumpy Cat meme coloring page

Grumpy Cat

Her real name was Tardar Sauce and she lived in Morristown, Arizona. Her owner's brother posted photos of her on Reddit on September 22, 2012, and people assumed they were edited. They were not: the permanent frown came from feline dwarfism and an underbite. By all accounts she was a calm, friendly cat. She went on to get books, a wax figure and a Christmas movie before she died in May 2019, aged seven.

Colors: Cream body, brown face, ears and paws, bright blue eyes.

Distracted Boyfriend meme coloring page

Distracted Boyfriend

Spanish photographer Antonio Guillem shot this in Girona in 2015 for a stock photo series about infidelity. It sat in the catalogs for two years. In August 2017 people started labeling the three figures, the man as "me", his girlfriend as what he should be doing and the passing woman as whatever is distracting him, and it turned into one of the most reused templates there is. Guillem has said he did not know what a meme was until his models told him.

Colors: A blue checked shirt for him, a red dress for the woman walking past, a light blue top for the girlfriend.

Roll Safe meme coloring page

Roll Safe

The man tapping his temple is British actor Kayode Ewumi playing Reece Simpson, known as Roll Safe, in the 2016 web series Hood Documentary. In February 2017 the screenshot was paired with advice that sounds clever for one second: you can't be broke if you don't check your bank account, you can't fail the test if you don't take it. The pointing finger and the knowing grin do most of the work.

Colors: A black leather jacket, short dark hair, a silver watch.

Giga Chad meme coloring page

Giga Chad

Giga Chad comes from black-and-white photos of the model Ernest Khalimov, made by photographer Krista Sudmalis for her project Sleek'N'Tears and posted in 2017. The jaw and shoulders are so exaggerated that many people believed he was computer generated. The name arrived the same year, and in 2021 the "average fan vs. average enjoyer" videos made him the internet's picture of unshakable confidence. There are four versions here, from a blocky cartoon to a portrait.

Colors: The original is black and white, so try pencil shading in greys instead of color.

Skibidi Toilet meme coloring page

Skibidi Toilet

Animator Alexey Gerasimov uploaded an 11-second clip on February 7, 2023: a head rising out of a toilet and singing. He kept going, and the shorts grew into a full war between the singing toilets and an army of people with cameras, speakers and TVs for heads. Within a year the series had billions of views and "skibidi" was a playground word. Our page shows the moment that started it: a grinning head on a long neck rising out of the bowl, mid-song.

Colors: White porcelain with light grey shadows, and any hair color you like for the head.

Tralalero Tralala meme coloring page

Tralalero Tralala

The shark with three legs and sneakers is the character that started Italian brainrot. In January 2025 TikTok videos began pairing AI-generated creatures with a dramatic computer voice reciting nonsense in mock Italian, and each creature got a name that sounds like a rhyme. Tralalero Tralala was the first to spread, and the format took over feeds for months. "Brain rot" itself had just been named Oxford's word of the year for 2024.

Colors: A blue shark with a white belly and blue sneakers.

Bombardiro Crocodilo meme coloring page

Bombardiro Crocodilo

Half crocodile, half vintage bomber plane, Bombardiro Crocodilo appeared in February 2025 and became the second big name of Italian brainrot. Fans quickly invented a rivalry between him and Tralalero Tralala, with tournament brackets and "who would win" videos that kids argued about at school. The page shows him mid-flight over the clouds, propellers spinning.

Colors: Olive green for both the crocodile and the plane, grey metal for the engines.

Chimpanzini Bananini meme coloring page

Chimpanzini Bananini

A chimpanzee wearing a banana peel as a body. Chimpanzini Bananini joined the Italian brainrot cast in spring 2025 and is the friendly one of the group: no teeth, no weapons, just a small ape looking out of a banana. It is also the simplest of the three brainrot pages here, with large shapes that suit younger kids.

Colors: Yellow peel, brown fur, a tan face.

Tung Tung Tung Sahur meme coloring page

Tung Tung Tung Sahur

The one brainrot star that is not Italian at all. Tung Tung Tung Sahur comes from Indonesia: "tung tung tung" is the beat of the drum that wakes people for sahur, the meal eaten before sunrise during Ramadan. The character, a wooden log with big eyes and a bat, appeared on TikTok in February 2025 and was adopted into the Italian cast within days. There are four pages: standing, walking the street at night, playing the drum and a chibi version.

Colors: Light brown wood with darker rings on top, and a tan bat.

Ballerina Cappuccina meme coloring page

Ballerina Cappuccina

A ballet dancer with a cappuccino cup for a head. Ballerina Cappuccina arrived in March 2025 and turned into the character that people who dislike brainrot still like: she is elegant, she has no teeth or weapons, and she dances. Fans gave her a husband, Cappuccino Assassino, and a long list of rivals. Her four pages go from a simple pose to a full theater stage with curtains and roses.

Colors: A white cup, brown coffee with cream foam, a pink tutu and pink shoes.

Cappuccino Assassino meme coloring page

Cappuccino Assassino

A takeaway coffee cup dressed as a ninja, with a headband and two swords on his back. Cappuccino Assassino is one of the early Italian brainrot characters from the first months of 2025, and the running joke is that he is fast because he is full of caffeine. In the fan stories he is married to Ballerina Cappuccina, and one page shows the two of them together.

Colors: A white or brown paper cup with a dark lid, and a black headband.

Brr Brr Patapim meme coloring page

Brr Brr Patapim

Part tree, part proboscis monkey, with a long drooping nose and feet far too big for him. Brr Brr Patapim is the forest spirit of the group, and his name is only sound: "brr brr" like shivering, "patapim" like something falling over. The forest page, with mushrooms, ferns and a bird on his branch, is the most detailed brainrot page in this collection.

Colors: Brown bark, green leaves, a tan face and pink feet.

Lirili Larila meme coloring page

Lirili Larila

An elephant with a cactus for a body, walking the desert in sandals. Lirili Larila follows the brainrot recipe exactly: one animal, one object or plant, one name that sounds like a nursery rhyme. He is slow, calm and usually drawn alone among the dunes, which makes him a favorite with younger kids.

Colors: A grey head and ears, a green cactus body, brown sandals and yellow sand.

La Vaca Saturno Saturnita meme coloring page

La Vaca Saturno Saturnita

A cow whose body is the planet Saturn, rings included. Her name is Spanish ("la vaca" is "the cow"), a sign of how quickly the trend left Italy and picked up other languages. She is one of the biggest characters in the brainrot universe, literally, and the space page puts her among stars, a comet and a small rocket.

Colors: A black and white cow head, a pale yellow planet with tan stripes and rings.

6 7 meme coloring page

6 7

Two numbers, said "six seven", usually with both palms up moving like a scale. It comes from the song "Doot Doot (6 7)" by the rapper Skrilla, released in December 2024, which was used in basketball edits of players who stand six foot seven. A boy shouting it at a game in March 2025 did the rest, and by autumn teachers were hearing it every time the number came up in class. Dictionary.com made it its word of the year for 2025. It does not mean anything, and that is the joke. There are six pages, from bubble numbers to a full classroom scene.

Colors: No rules here. Bubble numbers take gradients and patterns well.

Which page for which age

Every brainrot character has a chibi version with very few lines, made for preschoolers and thick markers. The plain standing poses, the 6 7 bubble numbers, the cartoon Giga Chad, Grumpy Cat and the Skibidi toilet are built from large, closed shapes that a five-year-old with crayons can finish.

Hide the Pain Harold at his computer, the Distracted Boyfriend street scene, Brr Brr Patapim in the forest and the 6 7 classroom have small areas, faces and backgrounds. They work better with colored pencils or fine markers, and they are the ones teens and adults tend to pick. Pepe sits in between: one big face, but the eyes need a steady hand.

Questions about meme coloring pages

Are these meme coloring pages free to print?

Yes. Open any page and use the Print PDF button, or download the image as a JPEG. They are sized for US Letter and A4 paper, and you do not need an account to print.

Which memes are included?

Pepe the Frog, Success Kid, Hide the Pain Harold, Grumpy Cat, Distracted Boyfriend, Roll Safe, Giga Chad, Skibidi Toilet, six pages of 6 7, and the brainrot cast: Tralalero Tralala, Bombardiro Crocodilo, Chimpanzini Bananini, Tung Tung Tung Sahur, Ballerina Cappuccina, Cappuccino Assassino, Brr Brr Patapim, Lirili Larila and La Vaca Saturno Saturnita, plus three group scenes.

Where does the word "meme" come from?

Biologist Richard Dawkins coined it in his 1976 book The Selfish Gene, shortening the Greek word "mimeme" (something imitated) so it would rhyme with "gene". He meant any idea that spreads from person to person by copying. The internet later borrowed the word for jokes and pictures that spread the same way.

What is Italian brainrot?

A TikTok trend from early 2025: AI-generated creatures that mix an animal with an object, each with a made-up Italian-sounding name read aloud by a dramatic computer voice. Tralalero Tralala (a shark in sneakers), Bombardiro Crocodilo (a crocodile plane) and Ballerina Cappuccina (a dancer with a coffee cup head) are among the best known.

What does 6 7 mean?

Nothing. It is a line from the song "Doot Doot (6 7)" by Skrilla that kids started shouting in 2025, usually with a palms-up hand gesture. The fun is in saying it, not in what it means.

Are meme coloring pages suitable for young kids?

The pictures themselves are harmless: a frog, a cat, a baby on a beach, a shark in sneakers. The chibi brainrot pages suit preschoolers, and the plain brainrot poses, Grumpy Cat and the cartoon Giga Chad have simple shapes for ages five and up. The detailed portraits are aimed at teens and adults.

The meme I want is not here. Can I make it?

Yes. On the Coloring Ninja home page you can type a description and get a new coloring page, or upload a picture on the photo to coloring page tool and have it turned into line art.
