Types of Pages and Who They Are For
This collection keeps things simple and focused on positive messages. The featured design uses large, rounded letter shapes that leave plenty of room inside the line work. Younger kids will find it easy to stay inside the borders, while older kids and adults can use the open space to add their own patterns, gradients, or background drawings.
Coloring Advice and Bright Ideas
To capture the traditional rainbow look, pull out red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple markers or colored pencils. Markers work especially well on broad balloon shapes because they lay down solid, bright ink without leaving faint streaks. If you want a softer feel, try blending colored pencils together where the colors meet along each letter.
- Use bright markers to make the letters pop off the white paper.
- Tape finished pages in your front window to share a message of support.
- Color each letter a different color of the rainbow flag.
- Add small doodle patterns inside the balloon shapes before you fill them with color.
